If I read your poems over a period of time And discover you post lots of inane drivel Inevitably, I find nothing I think is sublime, And, if your syntax makes my head swivel, I think such “poetry” a waste of my dime. There are lots of famous poets I’ve not read Even though I know their work is superb, And, unfortunately, most of them are dead, But they knew agreement of subject and verb I’m being sarcastic, with that being said! </em Written November 26, 2022
