He gives me strength and courage, filling my soul with tranquility and serenity. And he helps me accept my past ... so, I am able to put it within his waiting strong arms, and his love has been a blessing. The Lord is my rock and anchor, holding my hand when I whisper, please help. He carries me when I am broken ... see my tears Lord, oh, these are my tears of thanks, and his love has been a blessing. With his words I overcome pain, and I am safe in the shelter of his wings. The wicked and evil he rejects ... the Lord holds up his shield to protect me from harm, and his love has been a blessing. The Lord renews my hope, and I am able to rise up like an eagle.
