Rockets of Love and Light In a Seemingly Endless Tunnel of Death Personified
Load-shedding be done I don't give a damn Because Kayleigh just taught me People are both the electricity and the juice The bringer and breather of new joy and the light into someone you love and treasure in this life And what I need in order for for me to able to put my head down on my pillow and sleep peacefully at night myself when I go to bed If only to dream and wish you we're here with me in person instead And to tell me yourself and have you smile at me exactly like your grandad did to you That you still remember to this very day and only just told me yesterday That sorry is a badly drawn stick picture of a a fish That doesn't make sense to a child until the day they eventually grow up and fully understand the actual true meaning of it Something are as simple as a smile and a hug That no 1 on earth but you can ever understand let alone try to explain put a meaning or price upon Unless you are 1 of those blessed lucky few who have actually experienced such a beautiful precious thing as the truest form of love Because life at it's most cruelest and worst can take and steal almost everything away from you and leave you with nothing Apart and but from that because that is yours to possess and own alone and can never be given or taken back Until the very moment you finally find yourself in the presence of death And at that point it's the only thing that provides any form of solace and so comfort's you
