Stop Gender Based Violence
What's wrong in giving birth to a girl? Love and nurture her she can be a pearl I can't be quiet towards your disdain for her Even those boys you seem to prefer For whose benefits you violated her right To their sister you encouraged them to express spite What's your bone of contention with the female gender Such that you also had no respect for their mother? Everyday with her was always the big same drama You'd beat her and beat her to coma You and Baale are birds of same feather You built a communal stratum that makes our females tether They're the most victims of sacrifices to your gods It's our tradition that's where the Baale always nods I joined the force that warred to see such practices decline Sadly increasing money ritualists keep it incline You're indifferent that your daughter was raped If you didn't ignore my sensor she would've escaped Not long ago, you almost gifted her out into a cat and dog life When you offered her out as a trophy wife Luckily the old man declined knowing she's raped Cos the perpetrator had the scene videotaped Your daughter's days in the college were terrible tales But I kept on following her trails On the day she ran away from home Like a bat out of hell she ran into a rosebush I'm happy I was quick to meet her in the bush Where she had hung herself to death Before I brought her down by myself to restore her breath Then I organized for her a safe refuge The trauma she suffered was overwhelmingly deluge But I stood by her as both mentor and counsellor My testimony is that she's become some brands ambassador For being an athlete with medals for excellence She travels the world to speak against gender based violence
