The king is okay with someone else dying, he is a bit of a thug. He sees his subject as a peon, a speck, a sand particle or small bug Les has no idea that his king is this way, for he knows him not at all. He has been raised to think his monarch is kind, respectful and tall. Who will wear the king’s armor? Who will join the battle today? Les offers to gladly, his feet solid in integrity, not one bit of clay. He is introduced to King Marcus, who barely gives him a glance. Then he suits up in the royal armor, to give the monarch a chance. The king dies in his bed of gout while the army is fighting the fight. What can we do? The royals ask. How can we make this right? They had paid attention to the King’s double. He was totally kind. Would the country figure out a switch? Is what is fully in their mind. They wait until the end of battle, then make Les their new king. He is selfless and worthy, and brings to the kingdom a total new zing.
