Me and My Bike
My bike and I go everywhere, to school~the store and to the shore. I love summer it is watermelon time, the best time of the year. Oh no a car, I said as I hit the ground. Where did that car come from, did they not see me and my green~red bike. I could be seen for a mile with all my bright colors, even flags and steamers. I opened my eyes to a world of red, then I saw green with black specks. Oh my poor bike has watermelon tires, am I dreaming~am I all right. I took a deep breath, I opened my eyes again. I saw a pretty lady wearing a watermelon dress, where am I~then drifted back off. I dreamed, I could not find my way out. I opened my eyes again, hearing a voice saying~how do you feel. OK but where am I, I replied. You have been in the hospital for five days now, you will be OK but your bike is gone. No not my best friend, I must say good bye. Up and out the door I ran, the bike from my dream was waiting for me. I rode on my new bike with watermelon tires, eating the cold fruit all summer long. We both had a few new scratches, but no worst for the wear and adventure. Date Written: 6/29/2022 6 Place NOTE: This Was Just A Fun Write. Did Not Happen.
