Shadows of Daylight
Shadows of Daylight I walk up and down the isles, of the grocery store. I see things missing, and large gaps..., in the background, of our day, that can not be overlooked, forever. The cost of necessities has doubled, since last month alone. The cost of fuel, twice that and more... by the end of the year. They tell us not to fear, at least those who are still listening. "Wanted"... everywhere, but no one wants to work. The businesses are closing. The sales have come and gone. We laughed and talked, and made light of tomorrow, but is here now... with us. We breathe it in, yet we can not exhale. Electric vehicles, that cost too much, that stand still... for lack of power produced... as materials become unattainable. Lithium sweet, feeds the monster's "need". Little children in the mines, that should be in school. Little children that will never grow up, or even grow old. Drive your car on, and know that the world turns a certain way, because it is the way we have all been trained... Who do you believe? The news which they shove upon us, as facts... twisted in the green rooms... to be anything, and everything, as "they" see it? Or more correctly printed between the lines, "As we are supposed to view life."
