Days of No-Bother
Those were the days of laughter and fun When life was just play with nary a care, Days of no-bother as we basked in the sun. The mind was a stallion, or unbridled mare, Our friends were our kin, our own family, When life was just play with nary a care. We knew of no difference ‘tween anyone, you see, Color, creed or religion was of no concern, Our friends were our kin, our own family. We knew not of hate, only love did we learn, Of joy and of friendship our bond was cemented, Color, creed or religion was of no concern. We knew not of a world with its mind demented, Ensconced in our bubble of innocence we were, Of joy and of friendship our bond was cemented. Those days just flew in a flash and a blur, Those were the days of laughter and fun, Ensconced in our bubble of innocence we were, Days of no-bother as we basked in the sun.
