Control
Control...There is so much we cannot control, But for once i wish i could've controlled this part of my life that took place, that i was the director of what happened to me this time A piece broke off inside of me, it fell down the endless pit of shame The force of a lion to want to stop it from falling, but numb and paralyzed with embarrassment Like a vase was carefully molded with clay in the hands of the creator, it now lies broken on the ground as me And you can't help but to step on the broken pieces, crushing it between the soil of the earth Like a guitar string gets thrown away by the master who played it, so you threw me away Like a cheap paper plate gets used and thrown away, so was I... You could not keep what you stole, you had to destroy it.That was the piece of innocence that disappeared from my face that can never be restored, I watched you find joy in what you did. The ashes of the remains was blown in the cold wind of the night. That was the night when the child in me was captured in your shackles, she has been laying there waiting for me, For me to come and take her home And today as i found her chained with the rust, I... I set her free.
