Journey Through Seasons Years
Let me tell you a story, a journey of my life, a journey of happiness, sadness, and strife. On a rainy chilled winter night, delivering furious wind with clenched fists, quivering. Lightning blast, darkened sky, followed by a reign, shaking the household, with pelting ceaseless pain, haunted by the howling storms as we weep. We had woken addled from unrest-ed, restless sleep. Spring's ardent love flowered its romance fluttering butterflies with his swift advance. The world was made new with the dove's spirit plumed, outside as we made love, cherry blossoms bloomed. Summer filled the rooms with excited laughter's children of perfection under the house rafters, a home where my children took their first footsteps, help mended their hearts, and showed them dance steps. Fall, my life evolved with the love of my love. Nighttime came and he found peace above. Fall had come and went, along a path of darkness, but there waited to be seen, blessed with lightness. 4/19/2022 Form N - Narrative - New Poems Poetry Contest 1. journey Sponsored by: Constance La France
