Her lips were kinda puffy...her ears were diff’rent lengths...and almost in the center was her heavily speckled nose! Nonetheless the two of us became the best of friends, and I remember telling her, “Joni-Jo…some day... I’ll come up with something that - if used the proper way- will gradually make a person’s freckles literally - fade away!” Experimenting constantly for months - with me, of course - plagued, like her, with freckles - I would pray with every test That, after risking countless ways - and nursing many scars...I’d zero in, at last, on what technique had worked the best. I’d noticed that my mother’s choice for getting rid of stains...which was to me what I believed a freckle actually was... Was, in fact, a product that you’ll not believe would work...but if you check my nose out, friend...I’ll show you proof -- it does! Mother’s chosen cleanser was a product know as -“Comet”! A pale green powdered substance that removes most any stain! A tiny bit abrasive, I’ll confess...there was some bleeding...but those of us now freckle-free will swear...it’s worth the pain!
