My Own Shadow Frightens Me
Facing the light I am so afraid I cannot even look down -back It haunts me so bad Sometimes, perhaps my bad luck Each morning, sometimes I have to look up Otherwise I will be haunted to death I cannot even look down Always afraid to face myself Sometimes I don't look in either side Always afraid of my own shadow Memories of dark days in store Not brave enough to take responsibility When all is well maybe noon Or the clouds have me shield I feel so free like a bird ... I tell you, I can really breathe Only happy a moment it disappears But only for a little while -again it reappears There is no way I am to be left alone It remain to taunt me for eternity My own shadow has turned into a dark house Which is haunted by the ghosts Sometimes I be trapped inside No hope of sun just a waned moon Like the most, I got myself excused often The shield of deliberately mistakes Yet my shadow had come to haunt me And get me chained to myself
