Untitled
I'm paralyzed by the suddenness of my awakening, Frozen with uncertainty as my heart pounds within my chest; And my eyes and ears struggle to make sense of the darkness surrounding me. My body frozen, not a movement will occur. My brain filling my body up with the shock that I've just seen. My awakening should have never happened, So why did it? I have nothing left to say, I can breathe, but I can't do anything. The breath that fills my lungs is fake; it has to be. For last night, I wished to be anything but alive. The lumid lights so blinding, but I fail to make my way towards it. I sit there staring at light, and at darkness. I must make my choice at this instant; Go up or down. It depends on his answer. I ask for the life that I once had, The love, the friends, the strength, and myself; For I will not look down for these answers. I must keep my head risen, keep my eyes up toward the sky. He can not seem to hear my plea, my cries; But the shadows are over taken, by the light that surrounds him. I cry, for the lord heard my call; why I cry, Only I should know. I failed to believe in his past, and in his present, He heard my call. And saved me, for the final time.
