He liked to lie on the sofa, often making it wet, the feline stupidity, I thought, that was silly. He would never care to use the assigned place, he was trained to go when he needed to pee. Outside of the house anybody hardly saw his face, a languid cat, indoors he always wanted to be. His home bound leisurely life I did not mind, adorably cute in ebony fur, I wanted him near me. With his constant silent presence I was entwined, for he became a sweet integral part of my family. One spring out of the house he started to daily run, made my heart break when I found in dismay, he disappeared one night, did not ever return, enticed by his mate, a white cat, he ran away.
