Strange Bedfellows
STRANGE BEDFELLOWS What strange bedfellows this alien, and I make But, it was really just a matter of give and take I'd read a book, he; forever watching the stars He, could never really takes his eye off of Mars Says he has a brother there, he's waiting a call And that odd way on my bed he likes to sprawl His feet upon the pillows, he gets a better view Looking at the cosmos for out that may be new I wouldn't say he snores, but he makes a noise Because after eating gherkins boys will be boys I thought he was levitating, as the quilt did rise But; was just wind, it brought tears to my eyes He doesn't like to get out of bed in the morning Lies with his one eye open, its quite concerning Joined Netflix, so he could the watch sci-fi films Then just about anything to feed his odd whims He likes Alan Titchmarsh on a Sunday afternoon Charlie Dimmock with her huge braless balloons He got a job at Walmart; bringing the trolleys in It makes him right happy, where he likes to sing Then it's back home to bed with his goodies bag It's just comfort eating, as for him time does lag Waiting on the stars to align so he can go home Until, he's the best bedfellow I have ever known Indiana Shaw . . . ; )
