At Last
At Last Over ten years, hanging out on my coffee table. Finally, one thousand four hundred and sixty pages, collecting dust, in-between, in conclusion are able to join two dozen, previously read, in various stages. During these years, I did catch them in the corner of my eye. Unfortunately, life’s journeys intervened, so they waited, as did I, the years floated onward, they and I were passed by. The journey stretched out over years, this is why we were fated to savor tidbits of knowledge and wisdom throughout, over ten years hanging out on my glass toped coffee table, reflections before concluding our journey, ending without doubt among the stacks of previously read book in my stable. This being unusual for one who leaves nothing in the air. Everything must be completed in a reasonable length time. This unprecedented act of tardiness, ten years, my cross to bear. Realizing it is all laid out in the lines of this rhyme. Today, March forth, two thousand and twenty two, at one thirty PM I gazed upon the last words, of the last page before closing this book for evermore, this literary text of authors, poets, play writes, a gem for this unaccomplished novice, receiving understanding, an inside look.
