The Final Round
The rain come tumbling down on the ground spraying gun powder all around , the heavens is crawling on its knees while the desert is shouting in the first degree. I watched the sun sinks deeply into the cloud with a message that is loud and bold, layers of cloud bouncing around and pockets of smoke gushing out of the ground. The heat intensify in the air scattering birds far and near, they fell one by one to the ground with broken wings and battered beaks and symbol telling you to cease. But the sparrow stood firmly on the pole, watching the irony as it unfolds. The whippoorwill utters a strange sound and cleared an obstacle from its punctured throat. The woodpecker looking around in paradise lost its beak and fell flat on the cold concrete. The minutes and hour crept by and not one airplane could be found in the sky. Thick black clouds parachute in the air and screaming and shouting echoed far and near. Evening stares desperately in my face and the mountain was the only embrace; the joys of horror linger behind me and realm of victory was walking beside me. Long lines of buses and trucks rolled in from a distance moving in an unbroken line and the crucifix marching behind and the lantern leading the divine .The journey was long but they keep trodding along with their hearts on their sleeves and their bodies trapped below their knees and hope mesmerizing in the breeze..
