Not sure it’s a blessing; it’s more like a curse. No matter the setting, no silence on roam; You jot down the rhymes or record on your phone. It consumes all your brain cells; it’s like a disease When the muse starts back flowing, yes, flowing with ease. So you’d best pay attention and write it all down, Because there will be times when she’s not around. At those times, you feel lonely, like something’s amiss, and you’ll think back longingly to times like this. Not sure it’s heroic, or an old cowboy song; just know that it flows well and moves right along. Seems it pours easily, like trying to breathe, So I go with the flow and I hope she won’t leave.
