How To Drown a Broken Heart...
It seems fitting To reach for the bottle That's what society tells you to do When your life is in free fall You either starve yourself or reach for the bottle Its really up to you I can do both Keeping up my appearance Slim girl, a mind sharp as a knife Only tonight if they could see me They'd take more time and care To tell people how to live their life The drink seems to favour A few, a few more The pain is beginning to disappear But its a false sense of security Tomorrow I will wake up With the same pain, hurt and fear Starve myself for the day Just to undo the calories Given to the night before Then realise It's midday I can't get out the door So I down another drink And wait for the facade To ready and start Lesson one In how to drown Drown a broken heart...
