Small Powers Everywhere
This little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine Wide and longing for committed dialogue not surrounded by elitist debate, Win/lose games, Zero-sum asinine assumptions requiring ego-infested shadows Resisting win/win opportunities of healthy democratic dialogue Between constituencies, residents sufficiently humble to become students together and unschooled unprofessional parents and not totally enlightened teachers and investigative staff and neighborhood enquiry co-investors in this democratic nonpartisan Thermos On Thames Experiment. Where the School for Daily Integrity hosts community resources co-engaging win/win resolutions producing cooperative educational opportunities to practice practice compassionate praxis nonviolent communication to restore EarthJustice, Where co-investors co-invite contributions around ecofeminist friendly circles just close enough for everyone to hear all respected neighbors who will not be Othered Because we are learning, through this pandemic of anxiety, to anticipate more than climate floods and fears, Both risks and opportunities, dissonance and resonance, chaotic cacophony and complex symphony entrusting our capacity for resilient health and safety co-governance. Not another negative Business As Sadly Usual competitive ZeroSum game of wounded ego-survival until some future small light day still dimly hoping for big bright ecosystemic polycultural multicultural win/win robust community Co-mediation co-operation co-invested co-dominions engaging spring EarthDay celebrations Of locals feeling active hope and mutually earned trust predicting environmental ideas for healing Earth's injustices blighting compassionate nonviolent communication, which would be more transparent, risking tender lights for growing better humored kindness Where silence of executives administrators managers means they are deeply listening for how we can empower each other through heartfelt consent And cold dark silence melts, no longer resisting Truth to continue power postures of professional knowledge, authoritarian legalistic positions Requiring only quarterly profit-preserving business without prioritizing long-term economic threats of flooding rivers and subzero icy windstorms. Straight white patriarchal privileged incorporated silence means corporate resistance to sharing inclusive powers with autonomously dimming lights Rather than unveiling wide and bright kindness moving away from monocultural either/or debate, repressing fears about surviving future floods mismanagement fees and famine Rather than inclusively hoping to thrive with good humored faith in INTEGRAL MARKERS of democratic health empowering this circle to embrace trust-rebuilding co-empathic engagement Feeding and watering each individual's strengths and cooperatively held assets rather than punishing our weaknesses of fear and anger, passive mistrust and active distrust Further afflicting executive professional disadvantage, dissociations dividing shadows weapons for continuing White Patriarchal privileged and disempowered and unenlightened talking Heads of lined up Authority Speaking down, darkly withholding honest well-lit encircling dialogue about our shared health interactive safety compassionate wealth anticipations through actively engaging transparent dialogue While sitting around our annual fire circle celebrating songs and dances of green ecofeminist healthy lights inviting yet another safe spring thaw Inspiring this engaging light of ours to let our best divine co-dominion co-passionately shine.
