I Hate Division
All Division loves fools, but man’s Truth is quite grey! Though math’s ‘truth’ can get bought, proofs must face peer review, and ALL logic examined for flaws in its arc. How I loathe this admission! I hate ‘truths’ we ‘buy’ that aren’t grounded, that surf on frail bubbles (that can’t hold mosquitoes aloft), quail like vampires who seek their reflections in mirrors. Death’s hand warms by touching cold corpses he reaps? Man’s walls fall, tides sweep beaches of shells left behind. Evolution’s work’s planned! Life’s the brother, the sister of light; we are star’s dust’s shaped clay, born to shine. All are spawn of one mother. Her womb shores an ocean whose soup fuels design, fins evolve, form five fingers, five toes, as we pour from the sea’s depths toward land to find food, not get eaten. Survivors pass genes on, advantage that seeps through the genome. The fittest get chosen as partners more often and tweak less advantaged. Does God not evolve too, feel blessed as child’s cleats clutch earth’s turf? Is true God, not just static (Who learns from Creation) the fount of life’s spark, God at one with the Bible, as humble as Christ, who in teaching gets taught? Long Tooth February 10th of 2022
