The Queens Romance
The Queens Romance For My King By: Melissa Ann Hardin January 5, 2022 Sometimes I whisper, alone at night, wishing you were close and thoughtful by my side. Can’t imagine how life became so complicated, the simple emotions between us shouldn’t have been. Maybe I wonder too much, maybe we should think less, trust in how we feel, let the world go by lost to us. Maybe we should be alone more, maybe a little less, I guess we’ll know eventually, if we remain unpressed. I’ve often wondered where you’ve been, why it took so long for us to begin. One thing is certain, our love for one another has been unmatched by any that came before, It surpasses all the fantasies and ignites the days with passion. I’m hoping you’ll always be near me, my secrets safe with you I’ve got lots of imagination, just enough to see us through? I left you little notes, nothing much and just enough, to interest your curiosity. Hoping you’d respond on this journey of our own. Because we’re both so shy in our regard for one another, I thought perhaps a simple date might settle our timidity. You tell me you keep my letters close, so that must be a good sign. Yet I’m still waiting patiently, as ever I will be, just in case those letters are the ticket to you and me. XOXOXO
