Which Do I Fear the Most
For a long time I thought it was just fear of failure, That held me back for a time, I now believe that failing to deal with fear of success, May have held me back for even more time. To admit to fear of failure, Comes to us all in time, Fear of success, We may not admit to in time. Success takes time, Failure takes no time at all, Yet fear is with us all the time, Admitting to that may be all That will stop us marking time, And make us stand tall. Overcoming fear of failure, May give us a taste of success, But for success not to end in failure, The fear that we may not be worthy of success, Could that be why we choose failure, Over success. Yet here I am feeling like a success, Not at all sure how failure, Became less of an option than success, Was it just that time moved me on, Or at some point did I read something, Or hear someone who was right on, And I changed something, That brought success on, And turned failure into something, Not to dwell on.
