Unanswered Question
Where did I come from? Where have I been? What have I become? Did I lose, did I win? I ask myself these questions. But, no answers come to me. I look in all directions, but there is nothing to see. Life can be a hard game to play, with no guidelines or rules. We have to search along the way, to find just the right tools. I have taken what was offered, but perhaps it was too much. Giving back, I discovered, was never with the right touch. The one question I'm afraid to ask, because the answer is one that I fear. For I will have to finally unmask, so the reality of it is clear. Have I failed at living a life, one that I can be proud? Or has living with so much strife, caused me to live my too loud? A general question, "did I fail", the course, Life 101? Caught in the tumultuous wind of a gale, did I become completely undone? I am not sure how to find the answer, Is it mine alone to decide? Or will it be answered in a manner, that a higher power will provide?
