The War Within the New Country
Long before America was free and, Independent there was a time when the, Monarchy enslaved us wanting more taxes. We refused raising up our tiny nation, Against the mighty giant. Women walking into the Enemy camps, Was way too easy and ingenious. I saw her in the woods so I tied, Her up in the cabin. She is beautiful even dressed in pants, Looking like a man in disguise, Yet I still fell for her anyway. We caught each other's glances, With such intense emotions, Lighting me on fire. I smiled asking for water, Looking deeply into her eyes, I told her "I'm not the enemy," With such soulful eyes. She kissed me with her sensual soft, Lips as she grazed my cheek with her finger. The passion in her eyes melted my heart. I told this captor of mine look inside , Your heart and you will know, I could never lie to you. A light of revelation lights her eyes, Remembering she says I know, You from a different time. Swords, King Arthur and Merlin, Coming from England but also, I see as my wife. I see the surprise on your face. The door flies open as I see, General George Washington, Stands before me, Cam, "Why is my sister tied up? Laughing I quickly inform him, We were playing a game and I lost. Laughing looking at Cam he commands, Untie your girlfriend. I am released from my captor, Looking into her eyes I kiss her and Whispering in her ear I say you owe me. She smiles, Baby I will repay you The rest of my life.
