A Cry
a Little boy clenched in the turbulence that was his past. He went missing in that moment with his eyes wide open. Like a moth with his gaze rooted on the blinding light. The present went to past in a shimmering sparkle. As the seasons changed coats, his wails subdued. With the earth’s perpetual rotation, his tears went arid. As the long hand passed the short hand, his heart went cold. With the immortal greeting between the Sun and the Moon, his light turned dark. The solitude brought him comfort. In his loneliness he found trust. The sadness brought him friendship. In his pain he found a twin. a War was raging deep inside. a Struggle between good and evil. a Continuous tugging on the soul. Like two scavengers fighting over a corpse. Many casualties remained in the raging bull’s wake. Many lives altered by an encounter. Those with good intentions were briskly pushed away. The darkness was taking hold…evil was settling in. As all was about to be lost. The boy burst out a final cry. The chains that kept him shackled to past were broken. The war drew to an abrupt halt. As tears rolled from his cheeks onto his torrid soul. Like the first drops of rain after a long drought. Like Spring announces the end to a freezing Winter. It signalled a new beginning where rage made way for peace. AvN
