Moving, Shopping, Between Raindrops
I Believe in the Virgin birth of Christ. I Believe in Christmas. It's two days until Christmas. What am I doing? Ask my wife; I'm too busy to answer that question. Oh, she's busy too; so, I'll tell you this. Packing, stacking, and backtracking. Beware of garages, keeper of treasures. I'm finding things in the garage that I have not seen in decades. I found a Christmas card that I sent to my then Fiancee in 1971. Can you Believe it? 50 years ago! I Believe in love. I also uncovered A birthday letter to President Ronald Reagan that I wrote to him on his 90th birthday 20 years ago, That I never mailed. I believed in Mr. Reagan. For the first time, there are no decorations this year In our home. However, the radio is resounding with Christmas music. And oh, there is a nice Christmas wreath On our door. The house is in escrow. We are moving, moving, Moving. When do I turn off electric, gas, cable? Internet, water, and notify garbage? Paint this, repair that, detect that, Inspect this, no greed, and price it right. Movers, rentals, storages, COVID-19 mandates. Am I driving, flying, or Amtracking? Don't know yet. I used to be very decisive, but now, so many things Have changed, and so much is out of our control. So much is late or not coming at all. So much of what We once trusted and believed in have changed. What presents am I going to buy this year? Where will I shop? Will I even shop? I am forced to shop sometimes, but I don't Believe in it. I am running out of time and so far behind. How will I ever catch up? Oh, it's raining a lot this December. Yes, we need it in the worst way. No complaints here, even if I don't shop. I really would rather see the raindrops. I tell you; I Believe in rain. Anyway, I've never been one to shop until I drop. Not to worry, I shop for only one, And she is never disappointed. I Believe that I am the luckiest-most blessed. Perfume, jewelry, or cash? Probably perfume. 122321PSCtest, "B' Forms, 10 Plus Lines, Constance La France Poetry Form chosen, "Blitz".
