Mission of Dancing Cranberry Faerie
Mr Elephantus Oak was in the middle of a nap that day When Dancing Cranberry Faerie came skipping by with a hey! He was surprised, as it was Christmas week, and this was not her way. Usually she was with Santa, helping to make toys so gay! Green and pink big-eared wiggle balls were peeking too. Giggling and laughing at Dancing Cranberry Faerie nicknamed Sue. Their names were Funny Red, Laughing Yellow and Smirking Blue. Which makes flabbergasting fairy tale sense down in the bayou. What’s up? Mr. Elephantus Oak asked the dancing faerie Sue. I am down her to find chestnuts, walnuts and oak leaves too. We are decorating the Christmas train in a green and red hue. Nuts will be put into an open fire or used to decorate anew. Is Santa not using the sleigh this year? Asked Mr. Elephantus Oak. We use it for effect, Sue told him, but a train has to travel along too. There are so many boys and girls it’s the only way to get the toys there. So Mr. Elephatus Oak pointed Sue to the trees in the forest that share. They gave her a slew of acorns, walnuts and chestnuts galore. Come back and see us Dancing Cranberry Faerie, if you want more. Funny Red, Laughing Yellow and Smirking Blue helped her carry. They dropped a few along the way but all four were rather merry. Santa and Mrs. Claus were excited to see what the forest gave. They are marvelous trees, he told her. Especially Giving Mave. Giving Mave was the giant oak who had given the acorns plenty. Please don’t ask me for one today; for I fear we haven’t any.
