One eve my mom and I had dinner out. He was seated at the counter alone. He winked at me that left me without doubt, Next time he saw me he asked for my phone. I found he was ten years older than me. He wined and dined me each and ev’ry date. When Christmas came, a box beneath our tree Contained his gift, I knew would be first rate. ‘Twas the finest coat I had ever seen. We dated two years before we parted. Sadly, though he treated me like a queen, It ended and he was broken-hearted. I kept his Christmas gift for many years. It kept me very warm, I loved it so.
