Now I Am Alone Now God's Daughter Has Gone Back Home-
NOW I AM ALONE NOW GOD'S DAUGHTER HAS GONE BACK HOME- Now I am alone now God's daughter has gone, she's gone back home to God I held her hand it was just a greeting; I held her heart it was love I held her force was her spirit enthralled; Ever so trilling I was at her beck and call; Oh, how I love her; O' how I loved her; and yet now she's gone; O' how I love her; Oh, how I loved her; She's died now I am all alone; I had embraced her; Yes, I did face her; She was the one of my dreams; But God saw it His due process purpose; Was to bring her back home to Him; Now I am alone now God's daughter has gone, she's gone back home to God Oh, how I love her; O' how I loved her; and yet now she's gone; O' how I love her; Oh, how I loved her; She's died now I am all alone; So slowly God's daughter; I am now alone, lonely God's daughter; Away, flown back home you have gone; Now I am alone now God's daughter has gone, she's gone back home to God O' if time could be still I would yet still have you here; With me 12/11/21 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
