There is a city called the City of Jerusalem which is the capital city of the tiny Middle eastern nation. It is the same city where Jesus Christ will both rule and reign from its third temple. During His up-coming 1,000 reign there. About when shall the third and final man-made temple be built? Biblical scholars usually agree, it will be rebuilt, during the first three and one/half years of the tribulation period. During the tribulation, Jerusalem will be under siege during earth's final battle. The world's most famous renowned Battle of Armageddon! During the book of Ezekiel's Gog and Magog War chapters 37-39. Russia, its Communist and radical Muslim allies will fall on the mountains of Israel. Some Biblical scholars believe it is the beginning of the Battle of Armageddon! Some of them believe the Rapture of the Church will happen just before the battle. While others believe the Rapture will occur during the beginning of the battle! Why is the City of Jerusalem so important to our Lord God Almighty Creator of the heavens and the earth? Because His name is written there! And the nation of Israel was established as His covenant (promise land.) The Jews are His chosen and elect people! In fact they are the apple of His eye! All of its enemies shall perish from off of the face of the earth! Because they are under a curse. While its allies are under God's blessings! All Mighty God and Everlasting Father is going to create a new heavens and a new earth. Jesus Christ shall rule and reign from the City of the New Jerusalem! There are twelve single pearly gates guarded by twelve heavenly angels. The names of the gates are the twelve apostles of the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Whereas, its twelve levels will name the twelve tribes of the nation of Israel! Thus the names of His apostles shall be preserved, the names of the twelve tribes of Israel shall be per-served and the name of the New Jerusalem shall be preserved. The heavenly angels and heavenly saints shall be preserved! However the rest of mankind shall all pass from mortality into immortality by then! The tribulation saints and their redeemed off-spring!
