Again-Circa 2013
****Dedicated to my bestie and those late nights and early mornings filled with turbulent tears and triumphant takeaways from early lessons and heartbreaks**** Here I am again, coming to my end. Again, and again, and again. Same face, same lips, same eyes. Same kisses, same promises and the same dressed up lies. Always falling for this type. Can't stop what had to unwind "No, no, it'll be different this time", but then again, that's always been the line. Are we dealing with a man with a hindered heartbeat? Same smile, same talk, same gravity. Same worries, same tears, and the same hurting. Round and around and around and around. Thought I was clear to take flight off the ground. That was until it all came tumbling down. Unravelling these truths out, you stayed quiet, while those lies got loud. Broken smiles, broken kisses, broken things. Broken promises, broken soul, broken wings. I got caught up again this time, for a pair of faithless brown eyes. With reassuring lips and calm words, you told me this wasn't going to hurt, not like this. I tried to steer clear of all the signs, trying to avoid it, I ended up getting hit. Falling head first, the fault not yours this time, but mine. No tears, no hurt, no more being down. No love, no loss, and no love allowed.
