Wonderstruck
I was only but a child and to me, she was the littlest of bugs within my tiny hands I gave her the fragilest of hugs. In my life I would experience a similar range of emotions, like gleaming at Niagara Falls and watching my daughter do backflips in angelic motion. But this day I do remember as I examined my little friend she had uneven black spots on a divided red shell with one wing unfolded towards the left near end. A miracle I imagined that a lady bug would be in my hand and that I may use my tiny fingers to make her whole again. My eyes wide open and I just wanted to show my mom to show her what nature brought me that was absent of all sound. To right the wing I puffed my lips and blew it a little kiss and to my amazement, she corrected herself and flew away along with my childhood bliss.
