Being Nothing Is Being Free
My heart, now turned black, has let go of its constant ache. I feel nothing. I feel nothing because I am nothing. But being nothing is being free. Free of the burden, free of worry, and above all, free of myself- as it was myself who let me down. But that is not me anymore. My body will reside into the earth. My heart will turn to ash. The only difference now is that my fragile mind will not be a part of it. As I look back to the life I lived before, I see nothing but a battlefield against myself filled with struggle and war. A war that I threw upon myself and continuously lost. I acted strong because it was the only distraction I had from the thoughts of my unfortunate inevitable life. But now I have won that war- the war of life. And now I am free.
