So, they brought it home and parked it out back. I'd say their boat story happened about 30 years ago. Billy later sold that boat for $500 and a drum set. He gave Bob, the buyer, a promissory note for $300; but Bob did not pay the $300 due as promised. So, Billy went to him and took back the boat. Sometime later, Billy sold the boat again for $500. The buyer, Brad, paid $200 down and owed Billy $300. Brad, like Bob, did not pay the remaining $300. So, Billy went to him and took back the boat. Sometime later, Billy sold the boat yet again for $500. Unlike Bob and Brad, this gentleman, Bubba, paid Billy the $500 and took the boat. $200 on the first sale; $200 on the second sale; $500 on the third sale. My calculations show that Billy and Betty received a drum set and made $900 on a boat they kept trying and finally sold for $500. Billy and Betty were happy that they finally got rid of that boat. Never again were Billy and Betty in the business of selling a boat. 092021PS, My Significant 2021 Poem. Beata Agustin. 5P
