Dear Santa
Dear Santa... I've been a really good boy this year. I've done everything I was told. Even gone to bed when I'm supposed to, though sometimes I've been a bit cold. See, My folks lost their jobs back in April. Because of Covid, their businesses closed. They've been trying to keep it together, But they're failing, and everyone knows. Dad doesn't like to talk about it. He knows it makes Mum really mad. They're both finding it hard to make ends meet, between food, heating and rent, it's been bad. Christmas isn't that far away, I was looking forward to good things to munch, But without much money for heating and food, I'll be lucky to even get lunch. So instead of toys and things for me, I want something different this year; For my family to still be together, And my parents to stop shedding tears. My simple wish for you is this, Even though you've not done it before; Give Coronavirus the heave-ho, Then we won't have to worry no more.
