A Battered Soul
here lays my heart all scared and torn. here lays my incomplete soul shakin and scared. here lays my body all beaten and broken. here lays my mind with thoughts of what has happened. i lay here in my sorrow and self pitty unsure of why it happened. i lay here blaming myself. i lay here asking what i did to desever this. i loved you . i stayed faithful and true. i never lied to you. yet you hit me constantly . you get angry with each hello or i love you. i lay here and think of ways to escape. of a way to be free of you. you say that you love me . yet you hurt me. you tell me i will always be yours. you tell me no one else would ever want me. but your wrong. with what little strength i gather i find the courage to fight back . i must fight back to live to be free. this is not right i shouldn't have to deal with this. your gone finally free to escape the toreture the pain the hate. finally free to feel the sun on my face the wind in my hair. i am safe finally safe. you can never hurt me again. THIS IS A PEOM ABOUT MY PAST AND MY MOTHERS PAST . THIS IS NOT GOING ON NOW>
