Wondrous Life Eternal
Assured by the Lord with wondrous life eternal my spirit basks gratefully in divine freedom. Here am I led as a lamb toward green pastures restored by my Shepherd beside the still waters from pricking angst of rocky hurdles up faith’s hill while surmounting slime pits lurking for downfall grief. Toward worship bliss, I come to God’s glorious light serenely iridescent, granting pardon glow offering love, purifying heart’s sin-disease for joyous reaching-out, breaking selfishness’ chains. Thus, midst this earthy existence, indeed grace-filled my soul delights in the Saviour’s revival grant awaiting His second advent so majestic that affirms prophecies magnifying His Word for His believers to dwell with Him forever In His fully garnished New Heaven and New Earth*. Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (Poem Combining three Forms: Unrhymed Couplet, Imagism, Dramatic Verse) October 21, 2021 3rd place, "Let's Mix It Up" Poetry Writing Contest Sponsored by Constance La France; judged on 10/29/2021.
