Aunt Pat
AUNT PAT This is about my dear Aunt Pat She left this world way too early Leaving loving memories for all The best of course to her family Being truly the sweetest person Who you could ever really meet She made everyone feel loved Even from the very first greet I never saw her without a smile Or without laughter as I recall Passing along a great example In a joyfully loving manner to all She loved our Lord and Savior And lived by His word each day Now she is at home in Heaven For eternity she will forever stay My Uncle Dubby went there first As God’s intended destiny of fate Maybe to open up his arms to her As she comes in those pearly gates That COVID virus took them both A devastating tragedy so terrible The entire family tries to be strong Accepting what is now unforgettable There is a special day I phoned each year Because her birthday is right after mine Aunt Pat’s death came too soon to me It was a week before her birthday time I do know now that the Lord had plans For her new year to start right next to Him To also have Uncle Dubby right by her side What better way could there ever be to begin Florence McMillian (Flo)
