I walked the path to the beach, the dunes along either side. The seagrass waved within reach, pointing the way as if to guide. The tide was coming in, waves rolling over the sand. I felt such emotion within, outside, saw my trembling hand. Something happened to me, difficult to describe. My spirit lifted, feeling free. My heart, felt joy to inscribe. I stood there with tears in my eyes. Whispering, "I have missed you my friend". I listened closely, to hear hopeful replies. There would be a message to send. The waves rushed in, one after another. Getting closer to where I stood. Water touched toes of one foot, then the other. I laughed, realizing all was good. Powerful yet gentle, the mysterious sea. It has touched me like nothing else could. This place, is where I want and need to be. We are in sync, message is understood.
