The Dawn of a New Adventure
THE DAWN OF A NEW VENTURE The first ray of the sun so hot, Inspires me to give it a shot, During my thought, my eye was caught, By a bird so tremendous, Such in fact it made art seem horrendous, It sung a serene tune, Such that my spirit would bloom, But as we know it takes no time, From impeccable beauty to disgusting doom, A crow came carw-ing by, I felt like I saw my end, Such atrocious was his singing, As the crow went craw-ing by, It kept its spirits high, It kept its spirits high…… In the ocean of thought it made me sink, An ugly crow had made me think, “At least he tried” I’ll give him that, For I am such a brat, I won’t ever open my mouth to sing, But he aspires to be a king, Who knows? Tomorrow crows might sing with melody, After all trying won’t result in a tragedy! -Saksham Jain
