Ghost Time the Fall
Floating slivers i see out the corner of my eye Wandering memories folded in deep sighs Distant ever present melody starts so splendid A desire to remember a wish for it to be ended Familiar scents masked in the dark Populates the stillness and sets of an uneasy spark it burns through my senses alive and so real Nights spent in this distant dream land feels like a steal I visit often on this long ago shore A short floating walk and it is an open door But now and then it gets distorted The pact of sleep and wake to be transported Faint voices repeated phrases again and again Maybe a break through will soon begin Can I rewrite the time in my past To the ghost I have become The question at last Answer back is all I ask
