Growing
Above all else, be present and willing to change. To make life’s main duty the pursuit of proper range. Breathe in for depth to acknowledge the fact, it may be your last you’ll ever extract. And don’t be so scared to imagine your end. seek knowledge and love, to rise and transcend. What lovely fun this thing is called life. The ups and downs, successes and strife. To say there’s an end gives meaning to the story, we relish the chance to achieve greater glory. Such a shame sometimes when I see so many sad, crying about the past and all the good times they once had. As if life were done and they’ve seen enough. Because the good times passed by and in came the rough. I chuckle at this notion that some claim is true, we’ll always be stuck here and never breakthrough. I’ll stand here and listen, as you will confide. Then ask how many times you really have tried. You’ll exaggerate and I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Then I’ll tell you my struggles to which you’ll call out. “That’s too much, you must be lying?” to which I reply “well I never stopped trying”. I trusted my heart and I gave all I had, when that didn’t work I grew very mad. In anger I festered and blamed all but me. Took years of experience until I was more free. With the freedom came more knowledge, love and hope. Day by day realizing how I can widen my scope. So I took to life’s challenges and began to forge in the fire. Resisting temptations to return to my mire. I worked my body hard and mind as well. Through vigorous exercise of endurance of will. It nearly killed me but f*** did I need it. To bask in the toil of struggle and commitment. For man is the sculptor and also the stone. Forever destined to reap all that he’s sewn
