The Sea
Quote By Poet  "The Power Of The Sea and Thee" When I was little and we went to the beach,                     it was early in the morning.                                             The bright sun would be dancing on the water,                 looking as if the blue sea was sprinkled with a million diamonds.     When the sea was calm my dad would say,                       today the sea is as flat as a pancake.                               There were times we went out to fish,                             seas as calm as could be.                                               In hours the calm seas were rough as a roller coaster,       not knowing if we would make it back to land.                   "The Power Of The Sea and Thee"                                   Weather be as calm as a pancake,                                   or rough as a roller coaster.                                             The one that makes the mighty sea,                                 He is in me.   Date Written: 8/20/2021 SAILING Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Julia Ward 2 Place Writing Prompt, Oceans or Seas - Poetry Contest               Sponsored by: Constance La France
