Good Bye My Friend
I heard the news, please tell me it is not true or I will be blue. A beautiful and gifted Author~Poet~Journalist and Friend, Carolyn Devonshire why did it all end. You were always ready to help a writer, even doing some collaborations with your typewriter. I know the pain had gotten too be too much, God gave you His wonderful grace with His touch. You took so many under your wings on earth, now your wings are for heavenly rebirth. Carolyn you loved the blue water and sun lotion, it is fitting your ashes will be sprinkled over the ocean. I already miss our earthly talks and how they would roam, I cannot wait for you to show me your new heavenly home. A place where we can talk, write and have fun, splash in the water until we are all done. I will say farewell for now, for we will meet again one day somehow. Date Written: 8/13/2021 1 Place Note: I call you friend and miss you so much. Tributes to Carolyn Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Constance La France
