Is the Moon Male, Female Or Both
The purpose of gender is balance and procreation. One moon is enough for us. Our precious moon Has a differing purpose. The moon reflects the sunlight During late, dark nights. It ensures we never find Ourselves without light. The moon is known as The faithful witness in the skies. Some mention the man in the moon. This comes as no surprise... His logic in the way he moves the sea; When we stargaze, we see his face. We imagine him whistling lullabies While smiling down at the human race. Others may call her female As she glitters, shimmers and shines. She is our ultimate gemstone. Her beauty is sublime! However, I have to admit, I'm one to swim against the tide. The moon is neither gender. It has no masculine or feminine side. Written 5th August 2021 - Is the Moon Male, Female or Both Contest.
