What with the drone of engines the closeness I sense heaviness My butt on the seat Then closing my eyes amazingly sense suspension Such a charming out-of-body vacuous state As though wrapped up softly by angelic arms Is this displacement of the rational mine alone? NO! Many even everyone has moments of complete evacuation YES! Suspended in space Just a dot on the map between Boston and L.A. And not just a dot A mind-warp into the infinite The infinite has so ordered time and space - A trip from Boston to L.A. - All was needed being simply unthinking acceptance This flash of this so recently gathered intuition opens my eyes A child across the aisle picks his nose The freak closes them once again Settling gradually settling......I'm out the window Into the billowing clouds! Then descending so gradually Until the whole Earth is spread before my universal eye Focusing Focusing so gradually On a single perfectly square plot.....
