The Stark Reality, the Sad and Tragic Prediction
The Stark Reality, The Sad And Tragic Prediction Cry not, that one future day all will perish Nature's beauty, all we of flesh so cherish Remnants, magnificent splendor that was Rome All we embrace, life, love, heart and dearest home. All shall meet the power of decay and death We of that darken and weak Fate, mortal breath Throngs that flood and so deep pollute mother earth Oblivion will make it all of no worth……. What you cry loudly, shall bring such destruction We with power can levy no obstruction Shall it be the immense power of the sun By that atomic monster we be undone? Nay, such will not destroy earthen curse of man For he that seeks darkness whenever he can Shall die from sins of heart, soul and wicked hands Earth and Nature work to reclaim virgin lands. Cries predictions by the Oracle of Fate. Unless mankind stops before it is too late. Robert J. Lindley, 9-22-1981 Dark Rhyme
