Rhythm of Footsteps On the Last Mile
In life’s dynamic landscape of uncertain undulations, the paved pathway across the changing topography meandered to the realm of nebulous future obscure, I traversed following the faint footprints of destiny. Many surging streams I swam in the storm of despair, hopes held close to the heart lest they all drown. Chased the butterfly desires in the valley of flowers, as the winged dreams flew to the spectrum of rainbow. Riding the cadence of rustling leaves in autumn forest, the golden sun rays wrapped me with gilded rapture, as I found a niche in your arms to repose so very long, while in mind’s meadow dew of love sparkled as pearl. I now see the spent sun set at the edge of twilight, tinting the pathway in front, covered with the dust of obscurity, wind of time blows, whispering it’s the beginning of the end, as with the senile rhythm of footsteps I walk the last mile.
