It isn’t long before the sky starts spilling colors as if weeping tears so lovely I could cry! My sweetheart leans in for a kiss. I feel as if my heart is leaping. Such joy is love in twilight’s bliss. We stay there watching sun sink low. Gratitude for God’s gifts we’re reaping. How I wish time would go slow. Enveloped by dark, we embrace. Sun behind the mountains is sleeping, and now the moon will take sun’s place. Moments such as these do not last. That’s why in my mind I’ll be keeping magic that faded all too fast.
